The popular microblogging site crashed after unknown attackers flooded the site with data requests. New York Times claims they got this important story out first 30 seconds before everyone else. The entire article was 25 characters, “Twitter Down, We Win.” This is the first time since twitter started that the NYT was able to scoop an important story. Despite spotty twitter service, business appears to be continuing as usual, perhaps even more so? This entire summary is now 3X's too long to fit in a twitter post.
